So, full disclosure, the woman making this film was my best friend in high school! (And she needs our help by 4pm tomorrow!)
She and I met at a high school for American kids in Germany (Army brats rule!) and she’s been one of my best friends on the planet since the very first day we said “hi.”
Our lives have changed juuust a little since then, and one of the ways her life has been spectacular and amazing has been because of her children. She has a spectacular daughter and a spectacular son, and her son happens to have autism.
She’s been a filmmaker and film student/teacher forever, and now she wants to put these things together to make a documentary about what the future means for teens with autism. She’s doing a Kickstarter for it, but the deadline is 4pm on Thursday March 19th so time is of the essence.
